The actual Tarot of Diabolik was born in 1993 as a deck of only Major Arcana, designed by Sergio Zaniboni and coloured by his son Paolo, with the name "I Tarocchi Neri". The numbered cards were instead added on the occasion of this special edition made for the King of Terror's 60th anniversary: 1962 numbered copies (1962 being Diabolik's year of birth) in an even more special edition: with the silver box containing 22 stamps and Diabolik's magnet.
